Grand Mercure Oakridge Resort is situated on the fringe of Wanaka, only 2 minutes drive from the friendly resort town, and caters for 170 persons in 77 rooms. The rooms are designed to allow guests to enjoy the spectacular scenery for which Wanaka is world-renowned.
The accommodation available is one or two bedroom apartments, self-contained studios, deluxe resort rooms, standard resort rooms and lodge rooms. All rooms are tastefully decorated and include ensuite bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities. The apartments are equipped with a full kitchen. Wheel-chair friendly rooms are also available.
Whether guests prefer to self cater or not, Grand Mercure Oakridge Resort's "The Hub - Restaurant & Bar" offers guests a fresh, stylish and interactive cuisine. The restaurant has a central double-sided fireplace and seats 100 people indoors. It opens out onto an outdoor eating area overlooking the pool complex, seating a further 50 and providing wonderful views of the majestic Southern Alps.
